Yep, CZ 75. Others may be lighter, others may be more popular, others may have more aftermarket support, but this one fits my hand so very, very well.

I haven’t learned long arms yet, but a shotgun will be my next purchase after I do CCL. I’ll probably post asking for suggestions when it’s time. ^_^

I did a fair amount of shooting before I purchased the CZ also. It’s a lot like driving. You can shoot or drive plenty before you own your own weapon or car. That first one is special. ^_^

It seems to be reasonable to me, although I shoot 9mm, which tends to be plentiful and low in price. You can pick up 50 rounds of aluminum-cased Federal at Walmart for $10. An extra $3 for brass-cased, and WWB is $15. In the two years I’ve been shooting, that hasn’t changed much.

Remington 870 if you’re looking for a pump gun. They are cheap, reliable, durable and shoot well.

I run the gamut of ammo, .38SPL, 9mm, 40 S&W, .45ACP, .223REM. I’ve been shooting for about ten years but the last several years have been expensive on a lot of NATO rounds.

I’ve been carrying a CZ-75 compact for about four years, has well over 5000 rounds through it with ZERO issues. Great pistol, nothing fits my hand better.
